I am still learning the new race, the Scrin. And I hope that the add soem build time to structures and units, because the game feels just a wee bit too fast. Overall Review: I hope that EA soons gets its act together in regards to the online portion of the game. Because of these things, it only gets 4 eggs from me It kind of takes the strategy right out of real time strategy. Because of the fast speed of the game, the end game can become either a race to get a super weapon or a spam fest of the game's best units. Climbing the tech tree feels a little too fast for me it should take a little longer than 10 minutes or so to get the best weapons in the game and it can be done faster if you really want. However, LAN-ing the game with beefy computers is a different story it all works like a champ. People with good connections to one another and low pings are having games dropped and sometime s the wins aren't counting. As for multi-player, look at the consĬons: Multiplayer online is hard to enjoy because as of righ now, EA has not resolved several issues regarding the online interface. The new race is nice for additional replay value and adds a nice twist to the game. The production of the video scenes between missions is quite high you can tell they spent some money making them. The single player missions are quite good, taking anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to complete. Battles look spectacular with the ultra high graphics set.
